Guild Wars 2

Just wondering if both of these are worth taking, say for a Pistol Whip build. If one procs, does it put Haste on an internal cd preventing the other from proc’ing? Based on using them for the past week or so, this seems to be case, but not certain. Anyone know?

Thanks. One has a 30s cd and the other a 45s cd, so I’m guessing the cd comes from whichever proc’d?

they dont share the same cd

they DO NOT: it’s not rare for me to get two consecutive procs 1 from trait 1 from sigil, for 4secs+ of haste.
It should be fun to use haste utility on top of that, and have a mini personal TimeWarp

Been using both for a long time, and always have gotten at least 5s of quickness every 45s. What I can say though, is that Haste (the skill) doesn’t stack too well with other quickness buffs. If you ever use it, particularly with the Improvisation trait, I suggest letting your traits & weapon proc before you use Haste – the durations just seem to overwrite one another.

if you’re lucky enough to have Improvisation generously take the haste CD off, gratz! You can get a whole 13s of quickness – a build I’m quite fond of for CoF speedruns & bosses in general.

I would love Improvisation if it limited itself to only utilities you have equipped, but it kind of sucks that it can reset, say Traps, even when you don’t have a trap equipped.

No they don’t, I’ve had both proc for a total of 5 secs haste before….

Yeah, but we are talking about a sigil + a trait….
