This is a serious question everyone. As such, I hope you answer it truthfully.

I have in my knowledge, a viable dps build for pve. This build has likely not been seen by you before however you likely know where im going with this if you’ve seen my post before this one.

Why am I asking this? Because truthfully, I WANT to share my knowledge. But only if you want to hear it. If you all dont care I wont take the time to go into vast detail about what I use, and why I use it.

Now then, I am more than happy to teach you all about my build. I hope you are interested, and will let me know you are somehow. Ty for your time. Gl and hf out there.

Also I have other theories to test as well. One that amuses me, is a pure bunker thief. If this interests you, ask me about it and ill answer, what I can, IN THIS FORUM. Ty all.

Lol! Ok ok I understand guys. Sorry. I did not intend to make anybody beg. I just dont wanna go out of my way for you in making a long guide if nobody reads it. Again, this build is not optimal in the current pve meta. It is not “the best” at dealing damage, however it is unique, and I believe it to be very fun and effective. So I WILL make a guide forum, cus someone showed interest. Ty all and the guide is on the way

I too have a unique build that utilizes the speed and acrobatic fighting style of the Ataru Form and the deadly attacks of the Juyo/Vaapad Forms using the Sword/Dagger weapon set.

If you want to know more about it, you have to ask me, because I cannot be bothered to post my build if no one is interested.

Lol your sarcasm is spot on. I am ofc curious about your build vincent. All I was asking of people is that they show their interest if they have the time to do so in a comment. I am tweaking my build for pve effectiveness, so give me some time to get it optimal for that purpose. Ty for all your responses and gl out there.

Gentlemen please, you misunderstand me. Now that is partially my fault and for that I sincerely apologize.

This build in my OPINION is the most effective for my ROLE in pve and in MY personal playstyle.

That being said it can be tweaked to fulfill any playstyle that seeks to do damage in pve. Does that mean its the most effective in the current PVE Meta? In my OPINION no. does that mean its not “viable”? no.

I will explain everything about it in regards to how and why I use it in the build guide. However I feel it is unique and not something you see OFTEN.

That being said you are more than welcome to copy my build.

However, my build lacks some survivability (stat wise). So if you’re comfortable being squishy and like my trait/gear choices, and if you feel you can play it well (and have fun doing so) then I ENCOURAGE you to copy my build.

Lol im gonna get flak for that, but rest assured everything WILL be explained in time. I might even make a video discusing it. As my WPM is poor, and it could be faster to just make a Youtube video.

In response to zachary’s question, kinda. I initially went 30/30/0/0/10 I think. Dont quote me on that lol.

But it was something like that yes. I tweaked it a lil thanks to Iamoneandiamlegion’s (or however he spells it) build video on his Hybrid Glass Cannon dps necro that he (i believe) primarily pve’s with. Now his reasoning behind “why hybrid” and why he uses the traits. Is based in sound logic.

He helped teach me to theorycraft, and trait around my goal. His as a necro and mine as a thief, are the same, do strong damage in pve. So I gave a hybrid thief a chance, and built based on his reasonings. In that logic, if you wanna learn something I already know and make your own build, then I encourage you to watch his “ultimate dps builds” for necro and mesmer on you tube.

10/15/15/15/15 traps thief using that thief hound skill for elite? :P

Sorry, freelnacecoma, didn’t mean to be rude. Thanks for clarifying where you are coming from. I’m sure plenty of people would like to see your build, although probably at least half of those only want to see it so they can tell you everything that is “wrong” (in their eyes) with it.

No need to apologize for giving your honest opinion based on what I said. You are entitled to do that in a forum and are more then welcome to do it here. Your suggested build intrigues me though, would you care if I discussed it with you sometime maybe more privately if you prefer.

Thanks Tower, ill make a video guide for you as per “request/prefrence.” I am making a video cus you clearly would prefer a video. That being said, I have to let my mesmer build upload before I can make another one of equal “entertainment” quality.
That being said, my videos are first and foremost what you may also refer to me as (only if you feel it is a fitting description) I wont force you gentlemen to do anything, and I would never intentionally decieve anyone here. So that being said. I will try to make as effective a build guide in the form of a Youtube video, because it is what my audience made clear they wanted. (even if the only one who watches it is Big Tower lol)

Oh! Well ty for your interest in what I have to offer. Umm my channel is brand new and at the moment has nothing of mine to view. However I am uploading a discussion video on my bunker mesmer build. Just fyi. The video and audio are not great. If my channel becomes popular and thrives, I will try my best to make all of its content first and foremost, informative. However for the sake of maintaining interest, I dont want to make anyone so bored they just dont watch my vids. With that in mind I intend to eventually improve the video portion of my content on youtube. So my point is its not a perfect vid but hopefully I can make my thief vid a lil better somehow.
