Who uses Panic Strike?! It is a grandmaster tier trait, and I think it is utterly useless! I say it needs to be replaced or polished or whatever, something needs to be done.

What do you say?

Never used it, but in theory it could be good against those people who run away when low. Won’t stop warriors as they are virtually immune against slows but could ruin the day of some eles who try to mistform back into a tower.

Why? Mistformed eles are immune to this attack.

Yes, but if they get immobilized before they misform, they can’t move in that state.

/edit: But now that you mention it. Conditions get cleansed on downed, aren’t they? If so, what i wrote above doesn’t work :/

Um… no… mistform is a stun breaker.

Panic is the immobi on low health right? It works if you are bursting someone down after your stone goes off.

In pve? Horrible

What the kitten? Stun breakers dont remove immobilize.

i use it but it needs a buff still.

Used it in my d/d bs build, because there is nothing else Some gm traits are really bad.

I’m using it in my burst builds, it’s handy in case the initial burst doesn’t finish them off since it prevents them from dodging afterward. Makes landing that HS or a couple of auto attacks easier.

Yeah I used this when D/D was still good in spvp/tpvp, and in this setting, it was best used for HS spam+quickness.

Currently however, there is no point to put that many points deep into DA, for a lackluster GM trait, when I can put 30 into Trickery, and get a nice daze, and stop stability stomps on my burst.

Mistform/stunbreak doesn’t break immobilize. Immobilize is a “reliable” way of preventing a downed ele to return in tower… “Reliable” because we lack long immobilizes and it’s kind of a guessing game when to use on an ele

Have used it several times. It flows very well with an assassination role.
However, initiative management when you go 30 DA was just so much of a bother. Demanded flawless execution more than I felt was realistic and with hidden ICD’s hard to keep track of.

This is the sad part when you know the GM traits is worth nothing when most of the build, people go 25 points instead of 30 :P
