Does Power increase Condition damage?
If power did affect condition damage, then everyone would just stack as much power as possible and probably ignore condition damage modifiers altogether since power would have double benefit.
As far as scaling goes, are you sure that weapon strength doesn’t affect condition damage?
1.Power DOES increase condition damage.I am condition thief, and i can tell this for sure.
It doesn’t increase it as good as you may hope thou.I mean if you replace condition amulet with power, hoping both direct damage and bleeds to rock, you will fail.
2.Precision has nothing to do with condition damage whatsoever, because dot’s don’t crit.
3.Toughness doesn’t affect conditions. You will bleed with the same amount the squishiest elementalist as well the toughest guardian.
Hope that this helps.

Power absolutely DOES NOT affect how much damage your conditions do whatsoever. The ONLY stat that affects how much damage your conditions do is condition damage.
For example, the formula for bleeding damage is
2.5 + (0.5 * Level) + (0.05 * Condition Damage)= per stack per second
for poison
Level + 0.1 * Condition Damage per second

It is true that conditions are not mitigated by toughness or armor.
Brogin, while i respect your scientific aproach,i see it every day in practice that
stacks of might(which are pure power boons in essence) which i get increase the bleed
ticks damage EVEN after the bleeds was applied.
Do this simple test:
1.Get the trait which you get might after dodging.
2.Go to the test golems and spam 2-3 Leaping Death Blossoms
3.Start dodging and observe already apllied bleeds getting BIGGER.

Yea, might sure does increase the damage of your conditions but it’s not because of the power it gives you, it’s because of the condition damage it gives you. Since launch might has given condition damage in addition to power.

Might is a boon which increases power and condition damage and stacks in intensity. The effect of might is determined by the following formula:
0.375 * Level + 5 Power/Condition Damage per stack

It should not. The trickery skill path are what boost your condition damage. Power is all about the physical damage your daggers/arrows/sword/bullets inflict.
I’m pretty sure Condition Damage increases condition damage.
So Power will increase the primary damage of say…Leaping Death Blossom, but won’t increase the Condition damage aspect.
I guess that makes sense.
However, has anyone tested how Power scales with Precision?
Because if it does indeed scale off of each other, then we have a glaring imbalance.
