I actually do not know if the attack from bounding dodger is a self root that would not proc seaweed salad or something like that. My guess would be yes but I do not know. Anyone have a strait up answer?

While wielding a Spear underwater, it is far easier to proc seaweed salad using Shadow Assault since you can gather more seaweed that way than using Bound. Just be careful, too much seaweed will root you.

No firm answer just an observation which will require more testing.

If I am moving and make the bound into a target it seems I get a bonus from seaweed salad. If I am standing still when I execute the bound into the target I do not seem to get the bonus.

Now I also think that if I use a headshot while on seaweed salad, the damge proc from a PI goes UP if I am running at the time it procs.

These all limited tests so if others have any thoughts it appreciated. No I do not know for sure.
