With the recent nerf to SE not removing non-damage conditions, I wanted to make a build where it will be very hard to lock down the thief with soft CC’s – mainly cripple, chill, and immob.

My proposed build does not take DA or CS so you’re burst will be lacking; either roughly 10% damage and 25% crit damage lost from CS or 30% damage from DA. However, do you gain the benefits of both SE and Acro. But more important, you will probably never be chilled, crippled, or immob again (or it will be unnoticeable because the durantion is so short)! Assuming a 3 secs cripple or chilll, this build will reduce the duration to 95% (vs someone not running condi duration) or 70-75% (vs someone running condi duration). Of course, this applies to damage condition up to 60% duration reduction vs someone not running duration food/build.

The stats spread is balance. If you’re going to use S/D, redo the armor since you don’t need 60% crit chance (more for D/D for the BS crit).

Would appreciate your thoughts.

Edit – If you’re comfortable without Trickery, sub either DA or CS for more damage.

and you got high crit chance there,I would use prcision and ferocity food.It might be good.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even bother asking the folks that frequent here, and just go ahead with your build….

Most the opinions I’ve read here are from copy-paste disco era meta’s from the first month of this game… The paradigm shifters rarely, if ever, post here…. And rightly so

It’s a neat concept, though I’m not really certain why you’d run a build focused on negating soft CC using D/D + S/D when HS’s leap ignores the effects of cripple/chill and IS can be used to teleport away via neutral mobs, other enemies, keep enemy structures etc., and IR cleanses a condition on its way back, letting a stealth + IS/IR without a target remove DoT’s and conditions. I can see the traits making a lot more sense on D/P + SB more than D/D + S/D.
