I finally got my first legendary done, I wanted Dreamer ever since I saw someone using it at level 5. Took a good year but I have it bound to my account (though the TP was tempting!).

I plan on replacing the Sigil of Purity, though if any of you have a case as to keeping it on there, let me know. It just seems like something better could go there.

So my main question is this: What Sigil/s should I stick on there? My other SB had a Sigil of Bloodlust and a Sigil of Flames…should I stick with that or is there a better option?

I’m using fire and bloodlust on my shortbow, for more power (25 stacks = 250 power).
You can also swap it for energy for an extra dodge.

Depends what you mostly play with, and what your weapon swap is. Bloodlust and fire is great. I personally see the sb more of a defensive weapon, and one for solo WvW roaming. I would slot in purity and blood/energy – or if you got the money, purity and generosity.

Hmm…well if I could use SB all the time, I would. I love that weapon, it’s got everything a thief needs…except the damage of daggers of course.

I do have an energy sigil sitting around unused that I was also considering. Was also thinking maybe Air and Fire, since it hits so much but the cool-downs sort of put a damper on that. I can see leaving the purity sigil would be good for WvW/PvP but I tend not to PvP. I never see much use out of the bloodlust because I hardly ever get the full stacks and I am always bouncing around maps on the WB train. Maybe the Sigil of Battle for the might? Ugh…too many choices!

I use energy and purity, with an alternate sb with fire and energy. Probably would say purity+generosity or purity+energy is a better overall combination than fire+energy. Fire is decent dmg but you aren’t often using sb to burst except for downed bodies and in that case the big contribution is the poison with clusterbombs tossed on. The condi cleanse and an extra dodge will save your life and contribute more than more situations than a little more burst.

I think the obvious question is what build r u running?

If PvE, sigil of strength, you can maintain a constant 8 stacks w/o runes. Fire is way too underwhelming as of now.
