Wow, i just looked at the new trapper runes, those sound seriously cool. i have full ascended dire gear on my thief…. i think ima start running traps. just sounds fun

traps in gw1 were so fun, im so glad they got any attention in this game
Nothing says “fun,” more than a face full of lead. Also, people just aren’t used to countering such a build. Throw in traps in there, and people get even more confused (What?! A thief that uses traps!). Seeing a thief, the enemy thinks one thing, and you’re giving them another thing.
The best part of downing guys is when they party up with you and start to rage afterwards. I’ve had one guy tell me that I was just “another condi thief cheese.” Little did he know that my armor/weapons contained no condi dmg, and that I was a Power based P/P build.
If you use such a build, be prepared for the occasional hate. I’ve had my share of a few “pro” players telling me how awful I am….. after I had killed them. I remind them to tell all their friends and guildies that they just got stomped by a terribad P/P thief. They usually can’t come back from that and block me after that. Oh, the tears! So juicy!!
