Q:

Anyone else notice taking considerably more damage in spvp? It could just be changes to other classes but old attacks that I’m very familar with from numerous classes appear to be doing more damage.

Also I have noticed that other thieves are very squishy as well, just did a few 7.5k backstabs on a thief and 2 hit him but stomping is almost impossible now. Not sure what this is due to this early on….anyone notice this? Of course restoring the 3s revealed time would be helpful…thanks for nothing anet. I was doing considerably better last night before the “update”.

yeah…cant even stomp unless we are in stealth anymore. every class can stop a thief from stomping but a thief can only use scorp wire which nobody uses bc well…it sux

Wouldn’t that make you OP?
Obviously yes.

No other class can land “few 7.5k+ stomping” other than the thief.

i find headshot clunky to use. but yes true. good point. usually most classes use a utility or save a skill to do it. we have to make sure we dont use too many skills as it costs initiative

Best thing to use for breaking a stomp is headshot pistol offhand. 1/4s daze interrupts any action. Very nice for long castes heals too.

I think what you’re experiencing is that all the bunker build are going all out damage builds now.

You didn’t feel squishy then because bunkers deal kittenty damage, now that they went full throttle GC, you’re dying fast.

I think it’s just most classes are just doing more damage now cuz of the signet buffs and whatever else? 100% more stats on warrior signets? I haven’t tried any Spvp yet though. It’d be easier for the squishiest class in the game to notice becoming even squishier when everyone else starts hitting harder.

I think you’re right. I went and did a bunch of SPVP on S/D then played D/D + P/P burst for a few rounds and there are LOADS more GC’s in there. I had 25 stacks of power up, had the power signet and used unload on pretty much everyone… used to be 2-4k depending on crits and I was seeing 6k+ a lot more last night. I was killing everyone WAY faster. TONS of warriors in there on GC builds.
