Q:

Hey everyone! So I’ve been playing a thief and I absolutely love it so far. My build is usually sword/pistol and I usually do a decent amount of damage on NPC’s with fairly high survivability and I usually span Black Powder if I pull more than two NPC’s at once. This is fun and all but it is starting to get a little boring so I want to get into a good d/d build to crank up the intensity. However, I noticed that some of the perks in critical strikes and trickery increase damage/crit when attacking from behind or the side. What I’m wondering is if you are in the middle of a fight with a mob can you run around or use Death Blossom on an NPC or are they too responsive like the NPC’s in World of Warcraft. Are these traits mainly for PvP or are they easy to use in PvE? Sorry if that doesn’t make sense!

That trait isn’t very useful in solo PvE, although you can still line up the side/rear strikes using stealth. In groups it can be very handy, particularly in dungeons. Death Blossom won’t let you land back-strikes (mobs will whip around too fast).

Worse, when they are using a long channelled skill they will track your heading even when you stealth up.
