Hello guys. I am looking to roll a new toon and have always been interested in thief’s. Problem is I see so much complaining on these forums it puts me off from rolling it.

So I ask in pve content and I mean all pve content are they viable and fun. My engineer is great fun on many scales. I love using it, but I do need to try something else.

I like to have a good learning curve. Not into easy stuff. This is why I would like to try this or a mesmer.

If you want a challenge, this class is definitely for you. If you actually want to do something related to player-versus-player I would suggest looking into your other option, the Mesmer, it is a lot more effective and can accomplish a lot more with equal skilled play.

Considering the upcoming balance patch i would avoid this class. As mentioned before try out a mesmer, it has a pretty ok skill cap and it’s generally much more reliable and useful in all gamemodes than the thief.
