You know, I agree. It’s not like thief has been in a rough spot since June last year, getting even worse after HoT to the point where others assume they will lose with a thief on their team. Beyond broken indeed.
The automatic match throwing capabilities of thief are too stronk.

Dude I gaurentee I’ve played way more than you. It’s extremely unbalanced to be able to be able to evade nearly everything.
It isn’t unbalanced when its one of 2 defense mechanisms. Also I highly doubt you’ve played more than Reem. Scratch that. Original point still stands.

2) even if you played more than me, what does it give you? Bragging rights? I’m tired of these “i played since 1st beta so shut up” kitties.
3) if you played thief more than i did and yet you’re unable to counter one, then i’m sorry for you.
I agree. Some of these katz have no klout. EDIT: But if someone actually did play since beta, they would be good. If they actually were dedicated to their class, and honing their abilities.

A third of your life this past 3 years was spent on this game? I don’t know whether to call bullkitten or commend you. Leaning towards bullkitten though since you seem to have no clue what thief’s defensive capabilities are.
EDIT: You are probably right though. I did stop playing this game a while ago to focus on life issues while helping out the guild. I am on the computer all the time anyways. But w/e my experience is, alot of it was passed down by two thief mains (theorycrafters no less) who could destroy a majority of the thieves on here. So there is that.

- Death Blossom: evade is now 1/2 and it’s a spamm skill for condi builds. It has to scale more with power. To prevent spamming it and add more play, it should switch -if any of the attacks hit- into a second skill(I don’t insist on a certain skill but to give you an idea:)Marked for Death: lets you shadowstep to the foe first hit by Death Blossom for additional initiative (3?) like Shadow Trap. This would have the range limitation of 900 or 1200 and if the teleport is not used in the following 6 seconds or so, the skill would reset back to Death Blossom.
The point is adding a flipping skill to prevent evade spamming without adding CD.
A possible example:
Marked for Death: activating it stealths you, teleports behind/to your foe also inflicting vulnerability. (counterplay: vulnerability lets them know that you are coming)
Alternatively it could just teleport to your foe and hit them similarly to Shadow Shot’s damage part. (maybe not both stealth and teleport because then all weapon sets have everything if staff gets it too)

I agree thieves should be nerfed even more, they are currently too strong. I feel like I bring way too much to the table for me and my team, all of our utility and support and amazing bunker / burst builds.
Buff DH trappers imo
