I love the new F2 but the styling of it in the UI is terrible, it looks like a placeholder or that its still in beta, can we not get the opacity turned down to 30% or something, that would at least make it less obvious, instead of this glaring black whole in my screen.

I’m supposed to believe that given you dedicated a thread on this?
There’s a reason(I don’t feel the need to explain) as to why many folks don’t make subjective threads like “this looks bad” often, as if everyone thought is was an issue to begin with. If everyone was crying foul over it(engi hobosacks), then a thread would make sense. F2 icon? Not feeling it, but I’m not speaking for everyone else, however IMO, I think it’s obvious.

For what it’s worth, its meant to steal, gain an icon based on what was stolen, and store it for later use. It cannot be activated unless f1 is used first to gain the stolen item in the first place anyway. Looks as it plays, as far as the eye can see. The only problem is that it doesn’t have an icon for the sake of an icon. Simplistic ideology I will never agree with.

Its a forum, people are free to voice there opinions. If you disagree just say so, but don’t shoot the guys opinion down just because you do not agree.
I think it looks ok, but its unusual for it to not have a bit transparency, as that’s usually the GUI style of gw2 so might be out of place

I can understand many people don’t care how it looks, but then again many people run around as big purple hair norns with handlebar mustaches and clown outfits, you are probably one of them, I however have a keen eye for style, and this black box icon is not up to scratch with the rest of the UI.
Another keen eye thingy when we are on the UI topic :P.. compare specilisations art from guardian to that of the thiefs….. thiefs looks much less polished… like it looks very rushed compare to the other art panels in specializations. at least imo. but I really pay attention to that kind of stuff… XD
