For me I’ve always played with it off. But I can see why someone would want to have this on.

On the warrior, I prefer fast cast on because it helps to be able to use abilities such as whirlwind attack and combustive shot instantly.

always off. but SB’s 5 range takes quite a bit of practice to dominate . terrain can sometimes be a bit difficult to interpret

You save more time even if you press 5 a couple of times in quick succession while moving the cursor until you get the right max distance than having to press, place the green circle and then press again. It also makes Cluster Bomb or Shadow Step and other skills work much faster, and you want them to work fast.

Have it while you learn your distances, but then turn it to fast cast and everything will be better and smoother.

You’re all getting the two back to front. *Fast cast ground targetting* changes ground targetted skills from a double press to a single press when it’s ON, not when it’s OFF.

Personally, I have it ON for every class I play, and I reccomend it to everyone. Once you know how far 900 and 1200 range are, it’s much, much more efficient to leave it ON.
