Guild Wars 2

I’ve played virtually every profession in the game to at least level 40 and I’ve never had major problems soloing groups, personal story quests (2-3 levels higher) and even most events with any of them, except with my thief. I have trouble defeating groups of three. My elementalist can handle larger groups without a scratch, ironically.
What weapon set/strategy do you recommend for fighting three or more enemies?

I use sword pistol, SoM, caltrops, blinding powder… I don’t have many issues in PvE usually, but I do try to make sure I have melee mobs on me.

I have been using S/D since forever and with 30 in SA (ini on stealth, blind on stealth, regen while in stealth) I feel quite good, both in pve and wvw. The 4s revealed made the fluency in PvE baad, but now, since it’s/will be soon reverted…. go for it.

Main problem is that traiting into defense will lower the damage significantly.
(thieves have to rely alot on their traits to deal good damage)

They allready talked about it in the last “state of the game” and they said that they might increase the base damage of some weapon skill.

But if you go defensive you will have no problems in PvE.

You will only need more time to kill something
