Why should most thieves be forced to pick off the weak builds, and stay away from anyone who knows what the kitten they are doing, I experimented with alot of builds combos and ways to trick the enemy. Thief feels weak to me unless i go glasscannon, even then its not a good tradeoff becuase no matter how much skill and focusing you put into it the enemy can easily kill you becuase of the low health. Also switching it around, if i dont go glasscannon the enemy with the slightest bt of toughness or extra vitality just takes the dmg like nearly nothing and then uses aoe condi or something. Im gonna get alot of hate for this but, mesmers,necros,gaurdians are my biggest counter right now, when i come across someone playing either of these, the first thing i do is fake them out and make them waste dodges and skills, and as soon as i think ive got them they pull more evades and blocks out of thier kitten, I think we need buffs condi clear and stealth skills, and we need either a little more vitality or A damage boost, and i dont mean a 80% boost just like flat out 10%, and im not blowing anything out of proportion, ive tried everything and these days after the patch the average thief has a hard enough time fighting 1v1 but 2v1 means death no matter what to me.

At least you can pick your fights, if you’d play a non-stealth class, a lot of fights pick you and you get rekt.

Necros and guards really feel like an uphill battle now. Eles and mesmers are a real toss up depending on the relative skill levels. I’m having decent success with S/D DA/CS/T right now. I wouldn’t recommend either defensive trait line right now as the marginal defensive gains don’t compare with the DPS lost. The longer a fight draws out, the more at a disadvantage you’ll be.

I don’t think we need any more health or damage, just an un-nerfing to our defensive lines.

Your Defidently right about all that, glasscannon should still get a small buff, becuase it is way to hard to fight with 11,645 health Mabye bringing it back to around 14,000 like before the patch would be ok.

It doesn’t even matter anymore in PvP, not as a thief. Picking fights would be something that could actually make sense and help a team out in SPvP but with the introduction of this patch, there is no need to do that anymore.

Thief’s best role in this game now is just running away. Try to +1 a fight, do a little damage and literally run away, that’s it. There is nothing else for thief to do, because thief is in a terrible spot now thanks to Anet being the bunch of moronic trash developers they are who listen to nothing but crying idiots on the forums because they themselves at Anet suck far too much at their own creation to actually know what to do with it to make it balanced.

If you want to enjoy a stealth class, roll mesmer. Thief isn’t worth playing. It is an utter pathetic joke now, kind of like “Karl” and how he couldn’t even remember thief traits during a live stream because that’s how much this ridiculous idiot cares about his job and thief class and why we’re in such a stupid spot as it is.

“Build diversity!” Yep, D/P only or suck as a thief. Anet logic 101 right there. Rock n’ Roll baby, WOO!!!

Anet’s the only company in the MMO field I’ve ever known to employ ONLY idiots.

the only problem i have are tanky condi classes, or the engineer if he knows what he is doing, everything else is somewhat doable, of course you need more skills in almost every encounter, but the biggest issue imho is that condi players can dish out massive damage while just tanking everything you throw on them, looking at power based builds, i dish out a lot, but die fast, that in my eyes is balance, but who in his right mind thought that, hmmm, let’s make them super tanky and deal out 5-9k+dmg per second
