Title says it all. Any good Shortbow skins? I’m currently using AC SB, but that still bugs out at night (glow effect disappears for no reason). It’s also ugly during the day.

I really like Krytan. It’s super-cheap but has a really nice kinda wave effect to it.

If you want something more metal, with sharp bits and glowy lightning, try the CoE dungeon or Mystic Crescent skins (they are red and blue, respectively).

I like using the Ebon Vanguard skin because it’s the same model as the longbow skin… which means you get a big shortbow, haha.

The AC shortbow is pretty big, has a cool skin, and glows blue (at night / dungeons) like the rest of the AC weapons.

The pirate SB from the Lion’s arch jump puzzle is pretty hot, it has a figure with a skull.

It’s almost like an undead mermaid, with the arms up over the head making the top of the bow and the tail making the bottom.

Oh, and it’s longbow sized.

I’m using Arachnophobia. It’s one of the Halloween exotics. Some may say its a little dated but I like it.

I am SOOOOO jealous of you.

I want that shortbow skin SO bad. Its the last item I need to complete my look.

Sadly, people are charging approx 130+ gold for it and I’m terribad at farming gold.

It’s a matter of taste. Play with them in the PvP Locker?

Its not as easy to just go and check the PvP locker, the PvP locker does not show how the weapon actually looks when you hold it in your hand.

I will make it easy for you, tier 3 cultural weapon from asura, peacemaker shortbow is 63k karma and it have a purple glow, its big and it glows. Unless you have like 500gold to waste on a shortbow skin, theres no other cool and cheap glowing bows out there.

And dont tell me you do not like glow… everyone likes glow

Otherwise for abit more coin Corrupted shortbow, currently at 40g It has an awesome blue glow to it.. like ghastly weapons, but it always glows, both night and day.

Destroyer shortbow looks magma/fire-ish and it has a fire glow to it and its up at 50-80g if i recall.(not sure on price)

Then at higher price at 500g theres a bow called Aether, it looks pretty awesome.

How much does the halloween cost?

I’m using the Krytan Shortbow skin. It looks like an ornate, but still functional weapon. I like it.

Honestly, all of the Krytan skins are fantastic. The sword is one of very few swords other than the basic skin that actually looks like a functional, steel sword.

Just type “Krytan” into the TP and filter by weapon type. You can get a low-level for like 1s.

I agree about Krytan skins. The sword is one of the few sword skins that doesn’t seem a little bit too big on my thief. The shortbow is beautiful in an understated way.

The one Krytan thing I really don’t like is the dagger; I use Aureate instead.

Alrighty… what armor?

I’m using rogue chest, shoulders, and mask with duelist pants and fingerless gloves. Dyes: ebony (coat, mask), chalkboard (coat, shoulders), matte (shirt), and taupe (pants/boots).

Nope, no match at all.

Here’s my current look: Whispers hood, “Conquest” coat (PvP name; this skin from a Malchor’s Leap karma vendor), Sylvari shoulders, Vigil leggings, Hall of Monuments shoes, some mid-level glove skin. Good view of a Krytan bow in that picture, too.

I just got my personal story unbugged a few days ago, though, so I can finally go pick up the Commando coat I’ve always wanted.
