Good Thief Armor Attributes?
First off I want to point out that there really aren’t bad builds in this game. Keeping that in mind I want to stress that some builds/armor setups are more advantagious for certain situations. For example if you are focusing on keeping high conditions on while producing as many critical hits as possible use the Rampager’s. This only being supported and ‘most’ useful if traits are spec’d correctly in same areas. If you want condition damage while keeping a larger amount of servivability (if it seems you cant survive to see your damage go through) then Shaman’s is a decent acception. These both being more useful if you focus more towards double-dagger setup with shortbow/dual pistal (skill 1 and 3 pistals, skill 2 and 4 shortbow).
Me personally carry with me 2 complete sets of armor. I have a full set of exotic Rampager’s armor with Superior runes of the Thief equiped for throwing out my dual dagger dps. When going against tougher mobs and I want to stay mobile and more agile I have a set of exotic Cleric’s with Superior Runes of Divinity.
Keep in mind that everything works well in specific situations. There are no bad builds or setups and a well built toon can do what you want it to do rather than building a toon for what people tell you to do. I hope this helps.
Condition damage with Toughness/Healing
Power/Precision/Crit dmg
Those are the only two I really care about as a PvPing thief. Straight up damage or outlasting my target.
I’ve been playing with a power build myself (25pwr/30prc/15trk) because I like the bonuses. Planning on using Carrion Armor to boost my vit (haven’t decided what runes yet) after that ‘ll use my Jewelry/Accessory’s to boost whatever I’m lacking, Most likely more vit.

I’ve been eying a full set of Exotic Valkyrie Armor since I’m running a 0/30/0/20/20 build. The crit damage bonus per item would be significant to offset the lack of power traits, while I’ve found that since the thief can sometimes find himself under a lot of conditions without many removal options, more raw HP from Vitality will probably help there.
I have found that reducing damage from conditions is much more important to me than direct damage, so I pretty much gear for vitality over toughness. In my condition damage/survival set I have 18k HP/1100 cond damage.
I use a mix of carrion and shaman, because I also like having extra healing power to keep me alive via signet of malice/assassins reward.
Been using knight armor myself along with berserker rings and the remaining trinkets as valkyrie.
