I just hit 80. My very first level 80 and.. I’m really excited! Problem is that I have no idea what build to use. People keep giving me different opinions and ideas and I don’t really know. I want to be able to do damage, but still survival and not die with ease.
I’d really appreciate some help!

This is a good guide for PVE. It covers basically everything you need to know about the PVE thief. What weapon you need for which situation, what utilities do etc.

If you have problems surviving with full berserker gear you can take some marauder or valkyrie gear to increase your vitality, at the cost of some damage.
