HELP!? ROLLS/HARD2CATCH
about how skills are generally coded in this game,
the effect of the traits/skills only applies at the end of the animation, so in this regard you will roll first before it will actually debuff any kind of impairment,
about hard to catch and other related traits that has a real skill counter part, the quality of the traits are lesser than the actual skill itself
eg. caltrops skill vs uncatchable trait
shadow step vs hard to catch
etc etc
about the KD im not really sure about that one
hard to catch doesnt negate the cc that triggers it, it just warps you slightly away while you have the cc active.
still….if thats the case…ur still within any range other than melee
and really isnt worthy of a grandmaster trait. idk just doesnt feel right. its once per 60 secs. you should stay on your feet…as for the rolls…..what the guy said above may be theoretically right but its not. you roll and halfway thru the roll the condis are removed…..and then you finish 2nd half of roll…so they arent removed BEFORE or AFTER the actual roll.
Yep there not particularly well designed, but very little about the thief actually is outside one or two fairly strict builds
