Ok as you all have seen we have many complainers about how HS is too OP or thakittens killing people just by mashing 2 2 2 2 2 from start til end. so ive made a video to explain some things and some examples to show what is going on and why. i hope this helps.

not particularly strong until until its 25% or under i think. lets compare it to a more constant skill like Cloak and Dagger

average dmg per CND = 504
average dmg per HS= 504
coincidence? who knows?! lol bottom line is neither one of these are op. one has ranged attack for 3 init one has stealth(higher dmg,healing,condi removal,aoe blind) for 6 init. they are roughly in the same dept while CND gives a more strategic advantage. this isnt about CND just showing you that HS is not wildly strong. nobody can go around CNDing people to death :P nor can they HS them. unless they catch them under 50% hp when they are roaming. which is an unfortunate circumstance and unpredictable variable.
so all these stories of people being HS to death? ….unless ur running full zerk its not possible. that said lets see how it fairs against 3 difkittend of simple defenses.
defense A: dodge a few times only (left with 85% hp)
defense B: 2 dodge only then letting him finish all HS(55% hp left)
defense C: no dodges only skills (yes i know thief has invis but dont other classes have blocks? i figure its the same here bc it only takes abour 4-5 secs to finish all HS spamming)
