I’m a new player in GW2 and I have very little expertise in MMO, with that in mind, come take some questions with you!

I’m currently playing a Thief Lv30 … and I’m the Mato bixos with good speed, however I know that later on the game will then complicating wanted to take some doubts regarding builds and traits Thief
Respond to them in view of the questions that I only play PvE, then forget the WvW or PvP

1 – What should be the focus of my character (Power, Critical Damage, Damage Condition and etc.)?
2 – How should my focus in Traits? (Power, Critical Damage, Damage Condition and etc.)
3 – What are the best weapons to have on hand? (Dagger + Sword, Dagger + Pistol, Dual Dagger)
4 – When buying my equipment, I divide the attributes, or all focus on one attribute?

I would be grateful if you guys help me with it

Patient Thieves uses sword or pistol main-hand.
- Dealing burst damage is not the main focus, rather maintaining a high DPS
- Sword users focuses Power
- Pistol users focuses Condition Damage
- These thieves highly values survivability

Impatient Thieves uses dagger main hand.
- Dealing burst damage is a big deal rather than prolonging a fight
- Massive damage now, NOT later
- Dagger user focuses on Power and Precision
- These thieves will sacrifice survivability for more damage output

Hybrid Thieves are a little of both
- These thieves focuses on burst damage, maintainable DPS, and survivability

So, which thief are you?

I consider myself impatient, so I believe that I’m an impatient Thief

But which one would be better in PvE?
And in the case of using the Dagger main hand, what do I use in off? Dual Dagger?

PvE? Leveling can be done with any of the set combos. However, if you like doing Dungeons, D/D is the BEST damage output on SINGLE target that a thief has, while S/P is the BEST damage output for mobbing.

Dungeon builds for thieves use D/D and S/P. And of course tons of berserker.
