Hidden Killer vs. Executioneer
I was wondering if someone has done the maths on this.
Assuming a Power build with an effective crit-chance of 50%.
At what point does it make sense to switch from Backstabing to Heartseeker in PvE?
Once with the Hidden Killer trait and once with Executioneer.
My assumption would be that with Executioneer, Heartseeker is more DPS once you hit 50% HP.
But with Hidden Killer I’m not so sure.
It all depends on your play style, and build.
If you are 25/30/15/0/0 with Infusion of Shadow, just looking at the numbers leads me to believe that you wouldn’t use Heartseeker at all unless you were closing gaps. 25/30/0/0/15 you would most likely HS at 25%, but not any higher unless you were closing gaps.
Crit rate wouldn’t really be a big deal even with Hidden Killer, because CnD would still scale with crit and would likely keep CnD + BS on top until 25%.
Depends on your build entirely.
On a BS build you’ll be getting a lot more benefits from Hidden Killer, but the opposite is true on a more DPS-ish less bursy build like P/P or S/D.
That’s PvP-wise btw, I assume for PvE Execut is better due to big health pools of bosses.
