Just wanted to see how many other thieves out there pick up the hidden thief trait just to down other players besides me. I see a lot of ppl just using CnD but whenever I seem to do that when I roam around looking for small groups in wvwvw I seem to get aoed and it just makes downing ppl annoying.

I use it when running P/D to give another stealth to stack more bleeds.

It does have that added benefit of getting a sneaky stomp however.

2 seconds of stealth on steal.

Would never consider using this trait tbh. If I really need to get a stomp I either C&D or shadow refuge.

I don’t use it but I know of people who do, it works pretty good but at the cost of burst damage. You basically are reduced to annoying your opponent to death over the course for 30 minutes when you build for the perma-stealth build.

prolly one of the more under powered traits in the game and not really worth taking for any build

its ok for 2 button backstab i guess if your in the right place behind the player, but theres better ways to do better damamge by pressing one extra button which is cloak and dagger

If they stop that casting combo of cloak and dagger when hitting the steal button this maybe a viable trait for some backstabbers

I believe the next patch will take away the casting of C&D when stealing tbh, and i totally agree with it being a ex-BS thief player myself (now condition build)
