Hi,

Hide in Shadow has a 4s regeneration and the Major Trait Hide in Shadows adds a 5s regeneration when stealth, how do they stack? Do they stack?

Regeneration stacks duration so you get 9.

The hp-regen from the trait does not stack with any pre-existing hp-regen

I just tested it, it stacks and yes it goes up to 9 s!!!!

P+D /w Deception utilities means healing non stop.

Interestingly enough it only stacks with the regen from Hide in Shadows? It doesn’t stack in other applications, SR will not give more then 5 seconds of regeneration, C&D before your previous regeneration end and you will not get the boon. I suggest you test your intended usage pattern. If it would stack always it would be in a good position to replace shadow’s rejuvenation.

There is a bit of confusion here.
OP asked about Hide in shadow (heal skill) and Shadow Protector (III of shadow arts) and the answer is: yes they stack in duration
@frans: you are talking about Shadow’s Rejuvenation (XI of shadow arts) and it is correct that it doesn’t stack with regeneration. Indeed it doesn’t provide regeneration boon, it simply gives you health as long as you remain in stealth.
If you use hide in shadows and shadow’s rejuvenation you will see 2 different heals every second.

The first reply stated regeneration stacks duration, which it doesn’t when coming from Shadow Protector. The general nature of that post prompted me to post.

Shadow Protector only stacks with Hide in Shadows and I assume that is because HiS has stealth applied first, as it’s own regeneration would stack with that from SP. I am positive I tested HiS, but I could be wrong in my recollection of the results, I just concluded that it had little application, beyond solo play.

…..the regeneration from Shadow Protector doesn’t stack with itself. Nuff said!!!

That’s because Shadow Protector is a boon and the other is just health regeneration as long as you are stealthed, not a boon.

Mango Pie stacks with shadow rejuv. It heals for about 80 every second in or out of stealth. So while in stealth its about ~400 hp every second, you need more than this ?
