Hide in Shadows a Deception skill?
I assume you’re suggesting this so that they might be recharged when steal is traited to recharge all of a utility category. But really, we don’t need to be able to heal or use daggerstorm more often, that would be kinda broken.

Anet’s decision to label some healing and elite skills into the 4 part categories of each profession yet not for others has always made me scratch my head. I would think it’s one of those go all in or not at all type things. But then again it’s Anet….
Hide in Shadows and Thieves Guild could be Deception skills, and Withdraw and Dagger Storm Trick skills.
Not only for thief, other classes could use more heal/elite categories.
With that logic then perhaps CnD should also be a Deception Skill and Shadow Strike (P/D #3) should be a Trick skill.
My question is, where do you draw the line?
I agree with the line drawn by ArenaNet.
Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.
Only revenant can which makes them theoretically better in design due to sync, there is 0.01% chance this will happen in the next 4 years imo.

No weapon skills are really similar to utilities, kits and alike don’t count. There are no symbol,mark etc. utilities lol the line is 5 steps back from logic, keep it to utilities man.

Wut lol? So should all healing traits be in healing line,all conditions on condition weapons only same with utilities?? You made my day lol that change would help even if it’s very minimal. About that steal trait tell me about that RNG and over usefulness. They are not making that mistake with revenant hope that tech makes it to other classes. Are you familiar with class diversity ?

Don’t misunderstand. I’m not advocating such thing. I’m simply pointing out that despite the similarity in function, ArenaNet makes the final decision on which skill belongs to certain label/category.
I’m sure that they have asked these questions among themselves and have made the decision they have made.

Because none weapon skill share categories with utility skills. But some of the heal and elite do, so why not make all of them have a label?
I understand that it’s probably due to cooldown reduction, but it’s very inconsistent, and I don’t think it would break the game.
