Hiden thief & Mug
It used to work together, but got bugged ~2 patches ago
Eh… Being a thief – is endless sorrow
So “Hiden thief” (Shadow Arts VIII) don’t work with “Mug” (Deadly Arts III). Stealth from “Hiden thief” instantly interrups by damage of “Mug”. Just wondering: is it a bug or a feature?
Used to be that the sequence of event when you activate Steal was;
Deal damage (mug) -> Steal item -> teleport -> stealth.
But before a couple of patches ago, Thieves are “unintentionally” preventing themselves from teleporting by exploiting the terrain. So they will effectively deal damage, steal an item, and stealth without leaving their current location.
Now Anet tried to switch things around by doing the following;
Teleport -> stealth -> mug -> steal -> bug (revealed).
Which fixes the exploits but created an “unintentional” bug.
Full set of 5 unique skills for both dual-wield weapon sets: P/P and D/D – Make it happen
PvE – DD/CS/AC – If that didn’t work, roll a Reaper or Revenant.

Hidden Thief + Mug isn’t the only anomaly/ in this game, you should test Black Powder + Heart Seeker and Black Powder + Cluster Bomb.
The first stealth you after the dmg, the second before the damage.
