How do all our speed skills work together?
They do not stack, whatever is highest is what you get.
Too bad. I was hoping the non signet ones took us to an out of combat speed +33% or something to make them worthwhile but if ti’s just 8% and still in combat it hardly seems worth it then.
I could be wrong, but different speed boosts seem to have different weights in-combat. My signet speed seems to drop to almost nothing as soon as I’m in combat, but the swiftness from dodging is still really fast.
Swiftness will stack with speed passives, but speed passives will not stack with each other.
You know what they say about the leading man? He never dies.

You need to remember that your base speed drops when you enter combat, for all players.

This is not true, if you have a speed passive of 25%, and you gain swiftness, you only gain an 8% speed boost
Signet gives base speed + 25% movement speed in and out of combat.
Swiftness gives base speed + 33% movement speed in and out of combat.
Having the Signet on and gaining Swiftness means you’re now moving base speed + 33% movement speed in and out of combat.
AFAIK + 33% is the highest movement speed.
All numbers are calculated off the base movement speed.
The only reason it seems like the Dodge Swiftness in combat is ‘faster’ is because:
1. When you Dodge you move at full speed – a big difference between combat speed and full speed.
2. Any increase in speed when that slow is much more noticeable, so the extra 8% of base (25% to 33%) speed you get over the Signet just feels that much faster.
the signet is very nice but i only find it essential where I can’t scrap together the 10 or 15 points into acrobatics for swiftness on evade. I have few if any builds I like that don’t get that far. I came to the same conclusions that you are never stacking up speed bonuses, the fastest you can get is with 6x rune of speed where you get up to base + 40%
