How much is TOO much condi?
meh its up to you but here you go will tell you how much your bleeds do at what condition damage total. You will see that the difference is not alot between 1100 and 1300 then take how much 1 tick of bleed each will do over the course of how long your bleed lasts.

Thanks for the post oZii, I’m aware of the math of bleeds (and actually the link to the spread sheet disregards the level of the character, I guess it is assuming everyone is level 80?) The math according to the gw2 wiki is this:
Bleeding Condition Damage Formula:
General:
2.5 + (0.5 * Level) + (0.05 * Condition Damage) per stack per second
At level 80 this is:
42.5 + (0.05 * Condition Damage) per stack per second
What I was asking was more in terms of practical experience, i.e. has anyone run with 1100 condition damage in dungeons and even higher level fractals (though I don’t know what the “metagame thief build” is for fractals) and came doing alright?

personally i would go for 10 increment (thats just my personal rule to make other stats useful)
eg 100, 110, 120 or 130 bleeds per tick
my hief runs for at least 1750+ with the aid of sigil of corruption
making my bleeds 130 per tick

I don’t think that there is a value for condition damage that is too much. It has no damage cap, so you will always want it higher.
Balance that with you survivability and that’s all.
What is the saturation point for condition damage? After poking around this forum, it seems that most condi thiefs have stats along the lines of ~17k HP and ~1300 condition damage (ballpark range).
I’m asking because right now I do about 1100 ish condition damage and from the damage perspective I’m doing alright, my HP is around 16500, I’m pretty sure by the time I upgrade my gear I’ll get 17,500 HP and 1300 condition damage. But since I rely heavily on signet of malice I’m thinking of picking up + healing gear in terms of jewelry, sacrifice some condition damage and stay around 1100 rather than try to get it to 1300.
Sound like a good idea? I haven’t been poking around much in Orr yet, mostly I’m doing just CoF (to get mah gear!). Maybe that’s giving me a false sense of security, lemme know what you think!
2250 condition damage would be too much. 150 a tick is sick tho…
