How much toughness?/build
Check this one out, on thief it doesn’t pay well to go for a lot of defense.
But this one is pretty tanky anyways.

A good rule of thumb is having at least 1400 toughness.

I change traits, utilities and weapon-sets often, but the gear is mostly the same. I like the set-up, gives me good survivability and dmg output.
I run a full P/V/T (karma) set with all berserker stats (Ruby Orbs) for everything else (berserker weapons with exquisite ruby jewels)…makes for a very decent compromise between damage and survivability.
My build has 1360 toughness and 1260 vitality.
