So I was reading the Thief’s guide on Dulfy.net which states that if you want higher DPS with the Thief’s dagger auto-attack you should break the attack chain. How does this work?

Just activate another skill or switch weapons and the AA chain breaks, forcing you to start it again from the first attack.

Okay, so it’s something you do once every few strikes, and not something you can constantly do with every attack. Thanks.

While this does provide more DPS than standard attack chains you are greatly missing out on the conditions you apply later in the chains.

Granted in PvE you’d want to go most DPS possible but fighting other players the poison/cripple/weakness is VERY desirable
