stack everything into backstab and crit. cloak and dagger. you actually don’t need 1.5s since more people will die in half a second in wvw since they don’t have full exotic tank gear.

you can easily hit 17k from a backstab alone and then just slash the guy to death with your next attack.

im running this build and i’d say it ranges from 1 – 2 second kills, but your only good for it once every 40 seconds

In WvW you don’t need full glass cannon. Mobility > Full Glass IMHO.

Still going that way will still put you at a disadvantage vs most good well equipped players

you might be able to kill 1 person within seconds, but you have to run behind your group, hide for 40 seconds after that, that 1 kill is likely to render the thief useless for almost a minute.
besides, in a group fight/zerg situation, the thief is also running the risk of getting snared and focused on as he/she appears in close range of the zerg just to BS 1 enemy. also, you may down the enemy, but it will be hard to finish him off without getting ganked by rest of the zergs nearby.

1v1, awesome, most WvW situations, not worth it. :/

you can just switch to shortbow and keep your distance while skills recharge.
