How to make your crit chance higher?
Is that full berserker gear exotic and/or ascended? That includes armor, weapons, orbs/runes and accessories.
Resident Thief
full zerker exotic armors with superior rune of divinity with 2 corrupted shards (superior sigil of accuracy)
Trinkets are zerker back, rings and earrings with Jalis Ironhammer crest (Ascended amulet)
Full Berserker armor plus the Critical Strikes trait line, even without anything else should be enough to take you around 45% or more, assuming you have Exotic gear.
…I think. I can’t really verify that right now.
With 0 Critical Strikes, all that would get you to 42%. That’s assuming that everything is Exotic, so your Ascended should give you more than that.
Resident Thief
There are bonuses to your Critical Hit Chance that don’t reflect the figure displayed in your Hero tab. If you didn’t account for Keen Observer, Superior Sigil of Accuracy, and Side Strike, add on 17% to what you have.
Also, investing in a Superior Sigil of Perception would boost your Critical Hit Chance by 12% (250/21=11.9, but you probably have some fluff Precision not giving you a full 21 that would push it up to 12%).
EDIT:
with 2 corrupted shards (superior sigil of accuracy)
I don’t know for sure that you are, but if you’re using two sigils of accuracy, I just thought I’d let you know you only benefit from one.

thanks for that useful info, I’ll buy a sigil of force or a perception for the 2nd one
EDIT: and yes, I do have 30 on critical strike trait

2 corrupted shards
that’s your problem right there as the corrupted replace precision with vitality. Also put 30 points into critical. The 300 precision coupled with 30% crit dmg is amazing as is but also has great passive and choice traits. I usually have about 50% and I opt out for other stats over precision b/c when your crit chance is already over 40% you really don’t need any more.
Also, if you just wanted max dps and crit chance then why’d you go for divinity runes over ruby orbs? orbs give same crit dmg, more power, more prec. Main trade off is that you’re losing out on the vit and toughness you get from divinity. They are amazing runes but really go better on warriors, eles, necros, and guards since they all use every point whereas things like thieves, rangers, and engis (engi to a lesser extent) needs to focus into 1 build to get the most out of their class. On top of that, thief in general won’t make much use of healing power, condition – if power build, power and crit – if condition build
The vit and tough are always nice but never necessary. Imo keep that armor set as a tanky set for situations like zergs but get a cheaper set with ruby orbs or eagle runes for roaming, pve, and 1v1 situations.

bear in mind also that some critical hit boosts don’t effect the number on the hero display (sigil of accuracy, most traits)
and of course theres a difference between building for crit chance and building for damage, zerker is generally best all around damage gear but isn’t actually the best for pure crit chance.
However with full zerker gear, 1 sigil of accuracy, 1 ruby in weapon, 25 stacks of perception, signet of agility, 5x rune of eagle+1 ruby in armour, zerker+zerker/valk ascended trinkets with 5 precision, bowl of curry butternut squash soup, master maintenance oil, 30 critical strikes + side strikes trait (7% crit when behind or to side) + 5 points in either acrobat or shadow arts and you get 100% crit rate.
without 5 points in acrobat or shadow arts you get 99.91%, (or 92.91% if your not on the side or behind opponent)
So yeah, as a thief its not actually that hard to hit the really high %’s
Full exotic gear, 71% crit chance (I don’t count Keen Observer cause it’s trash)
Rampager gear has more precision than zerker if all you want is crit chance.
