I always seem to mess up. just don’t know when to use or how to use the skill well enough, everytime i use it i seem to kill myself or just get into awkward positions..
whats is the way/when should you use this skill?

First of all, are you chilled or have swiftness? Having either can screw up this skill badly.

I use it as engaging, to get melee range. It can get funky when you use it already close to a opponent. Tbh though I use it just for the evade, or to proc LS obviously I’m never really keen on landing it on my foe, its LS you want to smash em with.

Press 3 and then 3 again, you will be fine.

Basically this. Most weapon evades aren’t too reliable and can get you killed if you try to evade via a weapon skill instead of a flat out evade as there’s the chance it may not happen or happen too late due to latency or what not, regardless, FS does offer a decently lengthed evade in a battle, but most use it just to get access to LS

FS is good to use as a way to “home” back in on your target, as well. So for instance you dodge rolled a big attack, but that takes you out to the left and behind your enemy.

So you FS and you’re now at their right side. Don’t “SPAM” the LS afterwards unless you know it will land (and good opponents will dodge out of it, its quite telegraphed).

Instead, try to get in a full auto attack cycle, you should have time for the LS at the end. Also steal+LS, especially if you took bountiful theft and mug, can be quite the game changer, esp vs all this STR rune boon meta stuff.
