and I need your help to get better guys.
Watched a lot of build videos, read articles etc. and tried most of them in eotm,wvw and pvp,
was a little bit succesful in pvp because my current gear isn’t very good and runes helped in pvp.
but still, I get dominated by other thieves, I have just saw a thief using D/D, I could only damage for 3k while she killed me.
I’d really be happy if you suggest me builds for thief, would be happier if you write the difficulty level of the builds too so that I’ll begin with the easyone and go for the kittenes when I get better ( which I don’t believe I will)

You just have to have a lot of practice and learn the little tips and tricks for thief. And don’t be afraid to use stealth, use it when you need to.

D/D is arguably the hardest thief weaponset, but it’s very rewarding.

But most of all just play what you want, this is just my build recommendation.

I’d be more than happy to spare with you, point out where you could improve and how, a very kind thief did this for me when I was struggling on thief and it really turned tables for me, msg/mail me in game

That build is so terrible on so many levels.

The traits in the build the other guy posted will work, although his crit chance is a bit low for not using hidden killer IMO. As he said though, whatever works for him.

D/D is harder to use in PvP compared to other sets due to being utterly reliant on landing CnD, having less things to stealth off of and the inherent low mobility of the set. D/P gives you more stealth and gap closers, and S/D makes you feel like Errol Flynn. D/P is probably the easiest one to use, I’d play around with all of them and see what you like though. Get yourself a duelling buddy, that also helps massively.

Executioneer has to be raplaced to hidden killer and scholar runes has no place in tankier SA based build. Other than that its classic x/30/30/x/x that is here from launch which is perfect in so many levels.

@OP:
If your gear is bad/not top-notch, you’re going to have to improve that before you can really take feedback on what to do better in WvW.

D/D’s dependency on high damage values and ending fights quickly requires good gear.
You should be looking into at least the following:
- Full exotic armor or better (Berserker/Valk); Needs appropriate runes.
- Full ascended trinkets (Berserker/Valk)
- Ascended main hand dagger (Berserker, sigil of Air offhand Sigil of Force).

D/D can be played in a variety of ways ranging from skirmisher builds to might-stacking assassination signet burst builds. Your success will vary depending on your style and your targets.

Find your preferred style/build and assistance it can be expanded upon from there, too.
