Finishing Blow uses the plain finisher regardless of the selected finisher. Given how frequently this attack is used when it is on the bar, it should proc the players selected finisher rather than the yawn inducing default stake.

This, 1000x this. I saved up gold to finally get the finisher I wanted. Due to my playstyle I use the finishing blow more than an actual stomp. It would be nice to see my finisher appear for it. The engie function gyro has this so please, please make it happen.

This also makes me wonder, does the DD elite count as a stomp for bloodlust in wvw? Since it doesn’t use the players finisher.

What finisher did you spend gold on? A conversion of gold to gems for something in the store?

Yea, I wanted the super finisher for the longest time. But due to working away I missed SAB the first few times it happened then had to wait years. But you can buy other finishers from the TP now too.

I figure having my super finisher go off at the end of the skill would make it more epic -.

Neither selected or random finisher works in either WvW or sPvP on the Finishing Blow skill (I just retested it in both environments). You may be confusing Finishing Blow the skill with a general stomp. The finisher does appear on a normal stomp as expected.

For me, I need my pieces of flair. I think WvW requires a minimum of 15 if I am not mistaken. Seriously though, we spend money, gold or time to earn these let us use them.

It hasn’t worked for me since the skill was introduced.
