I was wondering what kind of weapon you would choose to craft as a thief if u made the long-term decision of going for a legendary weapon.

These weapons here are interesting for a thief:

Question is if you can actually really see a difference in wearing a small legendary dagger or pistol. The shortbow just looks….well….interesting I guess. That basically only leaves the sword.

What do you think?

While a few of them aren’t super bad, none of them seems to be worth the effort for me.

Dagger > Sword > Shortbow > Pistol.

I’m kind of confused about how you even hold that dagger… which part is the handle? Excited to get that far and start working!

Problem with getting more than 2 legendaries (btw: getting one will take you forever) is that you only get 2 Gifts of Exploration after 100% map completion and u need 1 of those for a legendary^^

Seems like not a lot of Thiefes are interested in getting a legendary weapon, which is understandable. I still can’t decide whether to go for either the sword or the shortbow. I’d prefer the sword 10times over the sb due to it’s skin but, however, use the shortbow way more often (wvw, dungeons, farming)

The weapon doesn’t do more damage than an exotic, so even if you don’t get a legendary shortbow you won’t be kittening yourself.

The shortbow shoots rainbows at people.

But personally I’m probably going for the Sword, because I enjoy the T3 Asura shortbow too much.

Does that dagger really have worse stats than an exotic?

get the skin, discard the stats .. oh wait.. dilemma

I’m planning on making the Dagger. I’d prefer Condition on it instead of Toughness though. Even more-so if it actually burned things. XD

I think the dagger probably works like a lightsaber~ just by the confusing way it looks…

Shortbow is one of the prime reasons I haven’t quit my thief yet!

Compared to the other legendaries which look amazing… On initial glance these look really dull… Especially that pistol.

Maybe it has something special about it when it fires… Cause that model is far too simple.

Shortbow because it’s the most used thief weapon.

Shortbow since I first saw it in Beta leaks. And I do run it all the time, so it’s a must.

The Sword and Dagger are so cool, though. I’d take the Dagger for it’s “What the Heck” factor.

The dagger looks kitten amaaaaaazing. I’m running S/P and SB on my thief but that makes me want to try a D/D build =3

I play an Asuran Thief, I can barely see my weapons as is, I doubt anyone else would even notice if I was wearing a Legendary.

wow those are horrible stats for thief… I guess I’ll make one only for the skin eventually…
