Given how the mechanics of a DD thief are predicated on successful CnD’s, does Panic Strike occupy a very special place for DD thieves due to the immob?

Steal, Infiltrator’s Signet, and even the Acro line to a certain extent, all help us get to the target, of course, but Panic Strike (along with BV) would seem to me to be valuable especially for DD thieves.

Or, in your opinion, does CS win out as the better damage-dealing line?

imo.

if u take hidden killer from CS line u can basically lower/give up precision and adds up more defensive stats like hp/armor because of 100% crit on stealthed. and more ferocity from cs line that provides.

Deadly arts also great especially i love that mug + executioner.

I find panic strike quite useful but dont think its 100% necessary.

I guess personal preference.

I take DA when i play d/p and CS when i play d/d

I’ve found it less relevant post patch as players would rather just hang around and win the war of contrition in that a D/D Thief will usually die in 5 or less hits…why run? With blind, Aegis, invul, etc who cares if you can’t run away when there was really no need or desire too anyway?

If anything it’s a given when not playing Thief that your sticking around to try and finish the gank which can be a huge advantage to your target.

In my limited experience running D/D your better off to stealth and backstab or HS chase when a player gets that low anyway. Hitting a stationary player requires you too be relatively stationary as well. I’d rather they were running tbh.

In saying it’s so situational and subjective I’d assume every player has a completely different take on it. That’s just my 2 cents.

If your having adventurer problems I feel bad for you son, I dodged 99 arrows till my knee took one.
