Improvisation-Bugged or...?
I recently posted a build using it and as of now the trait appears bugged, and rolls for the RNG whether or not you have equipped 1 or 5 of the 5 different types of skills. Hopefully this will be fixed…

The talent was never worth taking. RNG + vestigial bundle mechanic meant it was just a waste of points.

Yeah I was experimenting with traps and I thought to my self “Doing full traps, ptuting them down and having them pop them doing it again could be very good. 2 thieves summoned, then do thieves guild, could have your own army!”.
Was very disappointed.

If I was forced to bring a 25 deadly arts build, I would run improv over anything else. You can get so many clutch plays with it. In dubvdub, firey greatsword does ridiculous damage with this trait.

Do the math. I use Improv and it works great.
lets assume a 29 second steal cycle with 20 in trickery. It only gets better if one puts 30 in trickery but we will go 20 and assume person uses venomshare.
1/5 chance on a steal that your venoms ALL recharge. In 150 seconds this means mathematically speaking you get one instant recharge. Sometimes it will be more sometimes less.
the regular recharge of venoms is 45 seconds. In 150 seconds that is 3.3 uses of those venoms. Thus you get them all to recharge using improv you get an extra use. Now take the 20 percent reduced recharge time over improv. Venoms recharge at 36 seconds. In that 150 them period you get 4.1 uses.
Get that improv recharge and it 4.3. Now consider the effects of an instant recharge of all venoms on a steal.
You have 4 venoms on a tool bar and fire them all off gaining 8 might . Or you fire of all 4, steal , get that recharge and after using all venoms instantly use them all again. You now have 16 stacks of might. This is MUCH deadlier then 8 stacks when coupled with the fact you just loaded up 5 of your teammates with those venoms.
So while you might get unlucky over a longer period of time speaking on the mathematical probabilities you will get MORE uses of the venom and the effects of that instant recharge will be exponential.
The downside is it does not go off for that trait but that only 9 more seconds without those venoms. I can handle that tradeoff.

Huh. I never thought about a thief/ele team using fiery greatsword. That just sounds deadly.
But isn’t Fiery Greatsword typeless? So why would improvisation recharge it ?

Improvisation also increases damage by 25% when holding a bundle.
