So, I’ve been trying to make a venom build using all venoms with this trait. I’ve been charging all my venoms, using them, then stealing and they are not recharging. I’ve noticed this doesn’t work with signets either. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Could someone please explain this to me?
Edit: I got it to work with signets but I haven’t been able to replicate it.

This trait is awful and its design is mind-boggling. It recharges one type of skills RANDOMLY. So, even if you do not have any deceptions, sometimes it resets them. Or tricks. Or signets…
You have a 20% chance to get the type of skills you want to be recharged, in the end. It will reset your venoms eventually, but not with every Steal, that’s for sure. It’s unreliable.

Before you ask, yes, Hard to Catch doesn’t break stun and yes, it teleports you randomly, even exactly where you were standing a second before, or off a cliff.

really what skill would be better of these in a condition build?
Mug, Potent Poison, Back fighting, Corrosive traps, Venomous strength, Sundering strikes, Combined training, Dagger training. Quick venoms.
Improv is not horrible. I would take it as a second choice in the list above if traited for a 21 second steal cycle. One generally has 2 utility types on the tool bar and that a 40 percent chance every 21 seconds of a full reset.
So if it MISSES and gets you nothing what in fact did you give up? More time on your poison? 9 seconds on a venom recharge?A few stacks of might on a venom? It won’t break your build yet if that SR or caltrops or RFI instantly recharges you benefit.
Needless to say it all predicated on the types of skill you want in the utility bar. All venoms you are likely better off with Quick venoms and Venomous strength.
^Sundering strikes is actually an awesome trait. Even with low crit chance you can easily maintain 3-5 stacks, which means 3-5% extra damage for the whole team.
