Was messing around in spvp, my question – is there a way to make an “infinite dodge” build?

My tests in spvp were quite lulzy, I used 2X shortbows with 50% endurance gain sigils on switch along with the rune set that refills 50% upon healing, with traits that would allow vigor upon healing, and gain endurace everytime you dodge. I found that I could evade almost indefinitely. 2X dodges, switch, 2x dodge, healing, 2x dodge, SB “3” skill, switch, 2x dodge, signet of agility, 2X dodge, heal(withdraw, which is evade in itself with 15s CD), 2x dodge, ect. It would continue until eventually it hit a point where a small delay in endurance regeneration would give enemies enough time to daze and kill me. However, if I were to bring this build into WvW, where I could use foods..I could utilize the 50% faster endurance gain nourishment, then quite possibly make a build that’s sole purpose is to infinitely dodge and hold up supply camps.

Any thoughts on how to improve this “lulz” build?

you cant hold a camp with that build.

bow dodge doesnt give 100% protection between casts, even if you spam it. There is a small window between casts where you can be hit. AoE fields placed under you or AoE in general will still effect you sometimes.

Basicly alot of vigor combined with alot of endurance return.
3 Dodges on default which leave you with 25% endurance. Withdraw is a dodge itself and gives you with the runes and traits 50% endurance and vigor, means another dodge and after a tiny bit of time another dodge.
Steal gives you 15 sec vigor aswell for even more dodge. Signet of Agility returns endurance again. You can even lower the CD of the signet with the critical strikes trait. And of course endurance return on weaponswap.
And roll for initiative as another dodge.

I use p/p and shortbow on wvwv with LOT OF inicjative regen and like 30 dodges in row run away from zerg all day and they call me HAKER

Don’t think 50 % endurance regen food stacks with vigor, although it is awesome food anyways (double might on dodge, mmm). If it does, awesome, although maybe you aren’t running perma-vigor.

Condition-specced D/D with caltrops-on-dodge and Death Blossom for the evade turns this from a lulzy gimmick build to something actually useful in combat though, especially against large numbers of enemies.

Hm…interesting.

So, you’re saying, one could technically kill many noobs in WvW just by dodging around them and placing down caltrops. I’m going to re-roll for the lolz.

I actually trolled a guy to death once with nothing but dodgeTrops. I’ve also done this with my mesmer killing someone with only clones (no phantasm, no shatter) just the bleeds from clones. Both full 80’s, there are some really bad players out there.
