Insult than injury
You know. I really wish Daggerstorm reflected AOE projectiles. It feels kind of useless in most cases.

It does reflect grenades if thats what you mean they just have to hit the player, but when you see daggerstorm you might be less likely to aim for them directly.
I know what you mean man I kinda hate those things to minus the dagger storm thing, As I dont really us projectile weapons anyway. HS theives are useless to me and easy to counter. And why in the world would anyone try to d/d condi build lol. I have to check out the engi forums i have never played and i don’t really know how to counter the nade build with my d/d thief. And that kitten ed crowbar cursed crowbar. :P
I meet tough S/D thieves all the time but that D/D lol…i always see them swinging wildly and HSing all over the place chasing ppl…like a chicken with no head lol.
Yeah, I enjoy it when I paralyze a 22222 dagger spammer and I see him using Heatseeker in the place multiple times, like a traped animal. Then I feel a bit bad because I don’t like laughing at unskilled players (I’m usually the helping hand kind of player), but when it happens I can’t avoid to smile a bit and thinking “this guy reaaaaaally needs to learn…”.
That said, this happens with many different profession. I’m sure I know more about some profession I don’t play just from playing against them multiple times than some players I find around that leave me guessing what were they exactly thinking with their combat beheaviour. Some Warriors you find in PvP contantly use the automatic preparing sequence for 100b they read somewhere in forums or a build generator and you see they have absolutely no idea of how to use the Warrior outside of throwing that combo and hoping it kills you.
Any thief using dagger storm in a 1v1 scenario for any other reason than getting stability is doing something wrong. I use dagger storm to get stability or to heal with Signet of Malice in an AoE situation.
HS spammers, well – good luck. They’ll learn some day that it doesn’t pay off to use it for any other reason than gaining stealth or finishing off an enemy.
D/D condition builds are awesome, but not that powerful against engineers. Telling people to stop using it because it doesn’t work on condition removal classes is just stupid. That’s the case for any condition build. If I’m running condition build and facing something that eats my conditions I just run away ^^
When, and only when I use D-storm (which I haven’t in ages), I’d actually use D-storm for the long duration of rapid fire.. just to see it all backfire at the ranger
Also handy for escaping when you just used shadowstep and all, but the ranger still is hitting you with longbow. Use D-storm, keep moving away while waiting for your skills to recharge.
But besides all that, D-storm usually isn’t worth the elite slot over the other skills.

There is only 1 situation where I use that Elite and it isn’t PvP related:
The jumping puzzle fractal in the abandoned Rata Sum. If you apply the Swiftness from Thrill of Crime and use this skill, you can simply climb the stairs without worrying about evading the lightning.
so much troll on this thread
