The Regeneration you gain when going into stealth doesn’t stack or overlap duration. This causes the trait to only work every other time you stealth if you’re using it once the reveal wears off.

If you stealth while the regen is active it just wears off completely. It’s one of our few true group support buffs, it’d would be nice if it worked in recursion as other regen skills do.

Don’t know whether it’s a bug or intended, but it’s kind of silly since the revealed effect already prevents too much stacking. They could at least make it refresh the duration.

It’s also not applied when you have regeneration from another source, possibly to prevent the regen from stacking with Shadow Refuge. It does make the trait rather bad, unfortunately.

Are you sure that it does not stack with other sources? I know for a fact that it does work with HiS giving you a 9 second regen. Though it could just be that the trait fires before the regen in HiS does.

It stacks with Hide In Shadows.That’s 100% sure.

Hardly OP.If i just C&D every 4 seconds i will achieve literally nothing ,except not dying(probably not even that) .
I can point some other professions ,that have passive/traited regenerations and don’t have to spend resources for it…
Anyway,it is not necessary needed Shadow Protector regen to stack,but it can at least refresh(i mean the new regen to overwrite the older).

There are a lot okittenward and possible bugged traits that anet hasn’t really commented on yet. People whine too much about this class for anet to take any kind of stance on it.

The regen stacks, but the trait itself has an internal cooldown I think. The cooldown is even longer as the regeneration itself, at least I noticed that my stealth didnt always reapplied the regeneration when I went into stealth.
Maybe it would be worth a try to get the stealth reg, let someone strip that reg and see if a new stealth applies it, to see if it really has an internal cooldown.

It is a bugged and fairly (if not completely) useless trait.

HiS’ regen stacks on Shadow Protecto’s regeneration. The health regen from Shadow Protector is not applied if you have any other health regen on you. It’s bugged.
