Is superior rune of divinity any good for condition build?
Divinity… +10 to all stats and 2% crit damage, no, no it’s not good for condition damage builds.
I am anti-censorship, for it doesn’t make sense to pander to a minority.
Divinity is an all-around rune. It’s good if you either have no idea what you want to focus on specifically, or if you are going to try and utilize multiple damage / defense sources.
If you know you want a Condition Damage build though, Krait isn’t a bad choice, though you are losing out on that 6/6 bonus. Rune of the Afflicted / Centaur also have Bleed Duration bonuses. You might consider taking two Rune of the Afflicted for now, but I don’t know how expensive they are.
I say that because most of your damage is going to be coming from bleeds, right? So runes that boost Bleed Duration would be especially effective. 2 Superior Runes of the Afflicted would see you trading the 45 C.Dmg of your fifth Krait rune for 15% greater duration on your bleeds, which I’m pretty sure is a trade up unless your opponent is very good at removing bleeding.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

If i am not mistaken divinity +10 all stat dont include condition damage
Divinity gives you, Power, Precision, Vitality, Toughness, Healing Power and Condition Damage.
Superior Rune of Divinity is really not good for condition builds. It’s a runeset best used by builds with high power and high crit chance, due to the +crit damage on it.
The reason it’s not good for condition builds is that +% bleed duration is -really- important for condition thieves. Unlike Warriors and Necromancers we don’t have traits that prolong our bleed durations by much, and pistol’s base bleeds duration is 4 seconds.
It’s very important to stack enough bleed duration to take that up to 5 seconds of bleed minimum, and preferably 6 seconds.
@ Siva Mira WRONG
Divinity does NOT give you healing power and condition damage, only the all around spvp amulet does.
Go test it on PvP or PvE first before coming here claiming I am wrong. Well unless they just changed it in the last updated.
Or maybe this would be easier to look:

It gives me 60 healing and con damage too :P
Even if it’s +60 cond dmg, you typically don’t need +12 crit dmg in those builds because you’re usually going for high amount of condition dmg and vitality to outlive your opponent. I mean if you go Krait, you get like what, 160 condition dmg bonus + 15% bleeding duration. I’m curious if 2krait, 2 centaur, 2 afflicted with give you +45% condition dmg + possible 30% from traits and +10%x2 from weapons. That’s potential 95% condition duration… Anyone know if there is a cap?
Black Gate – Immortals of the Mist [IoM]
Mine must be bugged because on my div set I use for my crit build, It doesnt increase either.

Pretty sure there’s no cap, but you should do the math to compare:
- 2/2/2
- Nightmare x5 or 6
- 4/2
Even though the condition duration is significant, there is still a non-trivial opportunity cost to using a 2/2/2 set of runes.

Maybe yours is a sPvP set? My regular divinity set has been properly giving me +all stats for weeks. Since it is my only source of +healing, it is easy to see the difference. Could be why the myth that it is entirely broken has persisted.
As for OP, I wouldn’t use Divinity in a pure condition build since, as noted, you’re getting very little from at least three of the stats on there (power/precision/crit damage). Divinity is great for me because I utilize both regular power/crit-based attacks and heavy caltrops.
Frankly, hybrid builds aren’t too bad if you have a flexible playstyle. The problem is the initiative cost for having a flexible playstyle.
