Is this a good build for pve at lvl 17
Full critical strikes + full trickery is not a common choice simply because conditions and crits don’t play well. That said, trickery has some awesome traits that have nothing to do with conditions. If you do want to run a steal-heavy build like this, though, you’ll probably want to pick up Mug from Deadly Arts.
I wouldn’t spend 30 points on trickery.

Just experiment with different weaponsets. It doesn’t matter that much before 80.
I’d recommend to always bring a shortbow. Sword/Pistol is a nice combo for levelling (skill 5 for blind, auto attack for damage).
If you want more damage, I suggest traiting for critical strikes, not Deadly Arts. For extra survivability, both shadow arts and acrobatics are nice.
Try p/d at lower lvls untill you can get enough points for a high crit build IMO , all you have to do is CnD and sneak attack. Once you get enough points for a high crit build everything just dies super fast
