Thank you, I have been /facepalming for days.

You sir, have made the post I have been wanting to make for the last few weeks.
I before E except after C. It’s Thief not theif, rogue not rouge, Thieves’ not theifs or theives

Brings back memories of people spelling rouge all the time :P

But quite frankly, I’d rather have people misspelling thief than rogue, because at least you sound it out the same!

Are you sure? I mean with the amount of theif and gaurdians I’ve been seeing lately I was starting to think maybe I was the one in the wrong ^^

I thought it was called rouge? o.O

I remember people back in WoW misspelling rogue. I have not paid attention to how people spell thief in this game yet. I miss spell guardian a lot I think.

Starting to think people do it on purpose to troll, honestly. Nobody misspells Warrior. Or Elementalist. Or Ranger. Or Guardian.

Seriously, why is nobody doing “gaurd” instead? it sounds the same, right?!?!

From now on, instead of telling people in-game “It’s THIEF!” respond by calling them a misspelled version of their profession.

I know. But 90% of the WoW population couldn’t figure it out. Most of them said rouge, rather than rogue.
Now it’s the same with thief. :P

A rouge wood loose too a theif.

Some have spelling so bad they keep spelling ‘ranger’ as ‘hunter’…
