Have you seen what other dev teams have done to the other specializations ?
Have you seen the amount of work done in the visual department in comparison to the Daredevil ?

Just give us the monkey king idle animation. It’s not just about viability of the class. It’s OBVIOUS something went wrong in the conception of the Daredevil and somehow zero amount of work was done in the execution.

( 2 poor screens in the Daredevil spec reveal page that shows… nothing, just hammer stance >.> . Come on don’t tell me you’re not aware of the lack of effort)

Just get serious and don’t just “call it a day” after fixing the dodges.

I agree with the animation. they went BONKERS with revanent visuals. Warrior and Thief are so bland

It makes me sad seeing the Daredevil concept art looking like an awesome martial artist when they actually went with dude-holding-stick animations.

what if we were cool enough to get something so awesome as to have a toggle ability that would let us have the monkey king animations with an active “buff” effect that grants some other cool things, but its cool, well take the extra dodge ;-; kitten

I would like to say wait till release. The expansion is still in beta for a reason. :P But I agree for monkey king stance though!

I really hope they have a mocap session scheduled and just aren’t telling us…

It’s less than a month from release, which means it’s functionally done. A vast majority of the changes made between now and October 23rd are going to be minor tweaks and number changes… dotting their I’s and crossing their T’s, as it were.

But I guess that “it’s still beta!” fallacy will never die. This is not my first rodeo… I have seen well over a decade worth of people trotting out that beta bit to minimize or ignore the reality of massive problems with a MMO/expansion nearing release, and every time they ended up eating their words.

MMOs are the most time, money, and people intensive type of game to produce in existence. Things are not going to magically fix themselves in less than a month.
