So before I get into any detail about this guild I just want you all to know that I am speaking on behalf on another thief main who “stole the idea from [OMFG]” (the Official Mesmer Forum Guild) and asked me to spread the word that he is looking for Thief Forum goers to help organize. A few facts about it’s current status:

• Currently the guild is in the alpha stage. As it is just created there is nothing to it sept a few invites. The name and initials are Official Thief Forum Guild [Teef]

• Initial invites were based on contacts he had that he knows frequents the thief forum. I am pretty sure you know who you are.

• He asked me to take up the task of leading and administrating the guild but I declined simply because time and responsibilities will not allow me to do so. And before you ask me why he doesn’t do it himself, he isn’t going to do it either because he “would rather lead from the background”.

• I have also been instructed to be the middleman for initial invites. And again before you ask, he is permabanned from the forums and asked that I kept his name off them (for w/e reason). For those willing to join to help organize it to get it up in running, send a PM to me through the forums explaining why you want to join and I will check your post history before I send names to him. He will then send invites to those players whose names I’ve sent. This is just to get things started.

• I guess the one who is most willing and able to take up the responsibility will be it’s leader. I don’t know how else its going to work.

He plays frequently so once you get into the guild he’ll discuss setting it up with you. And I guess we’ll make a [Teef] Recruitment thread once the guild is set up.

The concept was stolen by someone else. I am just relaying the message.

EDIT: I can only assume that this guild is meant to be a source for training and any and all information regarding thieves from more personal perspectives. I could probably type up some structure and relay it to the guild once I get the chance.

Maybe it was also because the main guy suffered from sort of mental disorder causing himself to see an imaginary friend?
Hopefully the leader of this guild doesn’t have that problem, or even if he does it might be tough to tell since it’s online.

Maybe it was also because they killed someone and kidnapped his girlfriend (or whoever she was to him…)?
Well… let’s not do that.

Generally guilds do die to drama, it’s like one of the natural causes of death for guilds.

Don’t know, I guess the helm. Not exactly what I was going for but yeah…

Neither of you will be accepted to my guild, as you fail to meet two (maybe 3) of the prerequisites. I’m sorry, and perhaps in the future you will meet those requirements and then I will honor you both with guild invites.

Look for others that might be interested? Preferably someone who has the time and motivation to set up and organize events? That would make the guild not purely informative. I think everyone else can get the training part integrated since everyone is either going to contribute or learn from the contributors.

T1 has cross server guilds based on the merits that you are a duelist and actually solo roam. Those have been the only ones ive seen work “kinda” since its based upon mutual respect for a certain type of hard mode playstyle in T1 wvw.
