… to be clear, I’m not saying it never steals the Might Boon, but that if you have already some stack of might on you and your enemy has more than 2 boon on him, it seems to steal every other boon but might.
I’m not saying this is a bug, probably it is just casuality, but I have fight against a friend of mine using Engineer with over 25 stack of might on him and many other boons for over an hour and I can assure I never managed to steal might from him, except when he had only might as active boon at the time.
I would like to know if anyone else experienced the same thing I did

Might is probably last in the list of priority of boons to steal. Not a big surprise, the point of stealing boons is to make bunkers more vulnerable, so it makes more sense to steal defensive boons first.

it could also be to try and cover the gaping defensive gap in thief toolsets (more so if utilizing a sustained damage set like s/d rather than burst)

yeah sounds right, even if sometimes I scream when my enemy has Swiftness, Fury, and 20+ stacks of Might and I steal the first 2 on the list it should be totally random in my opinion

Mixed opinion – this is obviously meant to make boon bunkers vulnerable, so prioritizing defense over attack makes sense. And as 90% of boons are defense, that would put Might at the bottom (though hopefully above Fury at least). Unfortunately this means that the more dangerous heavy Might stacks can be protected by keeping Swiftness, regens etc on. Is RNG worth the risk of losing the reliability of taking Protection and Retaliation off that Guardian and finding yourself with regen and vigor instead? Should Might be placed higher on the list? Whatever the case, boon steal is a direction I love seeing this going, and I hope it goes beyond S/D

I would want to steal Might last by default – Prot/Regen/Retal take more priority to remove for me. Might is just an offensive tool, and I evade a good portion of damage while doing my boon stripping anyway. The defensive boons are usually the ones that tip the tide instead of just some more power coming your way.

possibly its working like condition remover on, last one on first one off and it just so happens that as you attack people they throw up/refresh their defensive boons.

Possibly requires more testing.

Just tail a necromancer running nothing more than BiP. Easy ten+ stacks of might. considering how few other boons they maintain.

Yesterday, I successfully used Larcenist’s Strike to steal might from ettins in Mount Maelstrom, consistently, over ten separate occasions.

I, therefore, also wonder if there is a prioritization happening on the steal.

I doubt it’s prioritization problem, it’s probably like conditions, remove the last one put on I’ve had protection, regen, and vigor, they nicked the first two
