Last Refuge is one of the most discussed trait…
Use Blinding Powder when your health reaches 25% (90-second cooldown).
sometimes it saves your life, sometimes it makes you die.

If traps are meant to counter stealth bombing and not avery single thief out there, I think ANet should change LR to something like:
Anti-stealth trap effect reduced by 80%

It will be a 6sec revealed debuff (double duration of normal one)

That’s actually a very good suggestion. Last Refuge has not been all that kind to me and needed some kind of tweak. If anti-stealth traps are here to stay, then any thief who invests points into Shadow Arts should have some sort of counter to it.

I do have points in shadow arts, but where is the need for this? I have played several hours of WvW after the patch and I have not stepped into a trap even once.

And if someone wants to make that effort to kill one thief – then well good effort on that. Maybe they deserve that one kill then. And having wasted those badges.

Even unstealthed it is not impossible to get away (from a zerg it might be impossible, but that is not what we are talking of here? Here people seems to be concerned about 1v1 battles and traps). Shadowstep, dodge and swiftness and the shortbow and you can get away from mostly anything. And probably buy at least 30 seconds so that you can use refuge again. And then you can return and kill the guy who wasted a trap for that…

The only acceptable fix for LR in my opinion is for it to ignore Reveal debuff and stealth you anyway.

The best thing to prevent that from happening is to grant the Thief blindness when LR triggers. This will insure that your next attack in queue will not hit and trigger Reveal.
